The Association of Forensic Professionals of Nigeria is a collection of experts in the various fields of forensic science with common ideology geared towards addressing the dearth and optimizing the potentials of the field and practice of forensic science in Nigeria through education, research and providing a platform for obtaining the services of qualified forensic experts in the country for the overall good of the justice system.

Our Board of Directors is governed by 10 individuals. The Officers are elected by members every 4 years

we support a full range of opportunities for professional development through our conferences, workshops, subsidized training and through professional status including membership  levels and formal recognition.
we support communication at every level, through knowledge sharing, experience and materials and develop common standards and good practice for the profession as a whole.

The Society has a range of awards

Continuing Professional Development is a key part of our Strategy and the services we offer to our members and partners.
The Association supports this through our training, workshops and conferences.

Anyone with an interest in Forensic Sciences over the age of 18 can apply to become a member including Forensic experts, lawyers, academia, entrepreneurs, students

We currently offer four different categories of Individual membership, namely: Fellow; Active; Associate; Student. Please see the Membership pages for more information.

The membership fee varies according to the membership category. However, a one-time non-refundable payment of N5,200 (five thousand, two hundred naira only) is required upon registration. Please refer to the Membership page for more details.
